Taking a break

Owing to private family circumstances I have taken the decision to deactivate my Facebook account meantime.

I’m unable to say when, or indeed if, I shall return to blogging but in the meantime I wish well to all followers of this page on WordPress as well as on Facebook.

Stay well and keep safe.

I came looking for you. You have always been one of my favorite FB people. Does that deactivate your page too? I can’t find it and so many great posts. 😦
Anyway – it is you and your family that matters but I definitely noticed you being gone and I hope everything is OK. Although unlikely there is much I can do – you know where to find me if even just want to chat. Hugs.

Hi there (I’m sorry I don’t know your name),
I’m so, so sorry to hear this.
I just wanted to let you know that yours is my absolute favourite blog. It has shaped my thinking, and my activism, in so many ways from refusing to support anything but an abolitionist approach through disentangling the concepts of ‘waste’ and using animals. Moreover, the genuine passion that comes across in your writing is so persuasive and I often have your tone in mind when speaking with to others about animals.
We often don’t get much feedback on the impact of our work so I just wanted you to know that you’ve had a huge impact on me (and I have heard many others describe your blog as their favourite too) and I wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done for animals.
I’m really sorry to hear about your circumstances and I wish you and your family well.
Thank you again and take care,
    Louise
